What the job involves

Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to join its growing private capital secondaries team. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a long-standing institutional investment platform with deep experience across private capital markets. The position provides hands-on exposure to a wide range of secondary transactions and portfolio management activities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

  • Conduct detailed investment analysis and underwriting across leveraged buyout, venture capital, natural resources, and credit investment funds
  • Build comprehensive financial models to assess and value secondary opportunities, including LP-led, GP-led, and direct secondary transactions
  • Prepare and present detailed investment memoranda and analyses to the Investment Committee
  • Support transaction execution by coordinating with senior investment professionals, legal counsel, and third-party advisors
  • Monitor existing investments and portfolio performance, tracking key metrics and liquidity events
  • Contribute to firm-wide strategic initiatives, including fundraising efforts and investor engagement

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year institution with a strong academic record
  • Several years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity secondaries, co-investments, or fund-of-funds
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in spreadsheet and database tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-starter who works effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
