About our client
Out client is a leading asset management firm with a decade of successful real estate investments. As they expand into the energy and infrastructure sectors, they are seeking an investment professional to support investment strategies, analyse market trends and provide key insights to drive growth into the infrastructure sector.
What the job involves
Support investment execution: Assist in completing around 5 new infrastructure/energy investments within the first 12-18 months, through financial analysis, due diligence support, and deal management
Build a pipeline of opportunities by producing high-quality market research reports and identifying at least new sub-sector or geographic opportunities for the infrastructure strategy
Be the “eyes on the market”, tracking trends (e.g. renewable projects, energy transition initiatives, PPPs in CEE)
Develop and maintain robust financial and U/W models for each prospective deal. Ensure 100% accuracy and reliability of models to inform investment decisions, with regular back-testing against actual performance
Take ownership of tracking the performance of existing investments – prepare quarterly asset performance reports and flag issues or value-creation opportunities. Success is defined by proactive oversight and early identification of risks or upsides in the portfolio
As the infrastructure initiatives ramp up, collaborate with other departments (development, capital markets) on initiatives like project financing, ESG integration, or investor reporting
Who we are looking for
Relevant experience in infrastructure or energy investments, project finance, or M&A advisory
Prior experience in a lean team or new initiative is a plus
Strong academic credentials - a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering (or related field) is required
