As the Managing Director of a newly established Venture Capital firm, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the investment strategy, building a high-performing team, and driving the success of early-stage investments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and structuring a new venture capital entity from the ground up.
- Developing and executing an investment strategy focused on Seed and Series A funding rounds.
- Building and managing a dynamic team of investment professionals.
- Establishing strong relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and industry stakeholders.
- Overseeing portfolio company development and ensuring value creation.
- Managing stakeholder relationships
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a visionary and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in early-stage venture capital investing. The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in Seed and Series A investments, with a history of successful exits.
- Experience in building and scaling a venture capital firm, fund, or investment team.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to attract, develop, and manage top-tier talent.
- Exceptional deal-sourcing, negotiation, and due diligence capabilities.
- A data-driven, strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with investors, founders, and partners.
- Native-level German language skills
