PER are working with an asset manager that has launched an ambitious venture growth strategy, backed by significant capital. They're actively investing in the most promising science & technology companies and funds across the UK and Europe—backing bold ideas, visionary leadership, and high-growth, scalable models.

What the job involves

Take a leading role in the strategic development of venture capital as an asset class
Bring sector expertise and insights
Collaborate with the broader team to embed these into the venture growth capital investment strategy
Deal sourcing, diligence and execution. Provide commercial review and decision making on potential new investments
Term sheet preparation and negotiations
Create and present decision papers for the Investment Committee

Who we are looking for

Deep understanding of either the science & technology sector or climate & sustainability sector
Extensive VC experience at Series A stage and beyond. Seed stage investors will not be considered
Exit experience is highly preferred
‘Hands on’ versatile self-starter, able to work independently and effectively in virtual multi-disciplinary teams
Goal orientated, getting things done in a low hierarchy organisational structure
