About our client

Our client, a high performing Family Office is currently looking to hire a Paralegal for its London office. The firm, which is headquartered in Dubai, predominately focus on direct and primary investments, across both the private equity and real estate space. The firm has performed very well over the past few years and due to its asset growth and additional workload, is now looking to expand the London based operations team by hiring a Paralegal.
What the job involves

Within the role, you will work closely with the firms senior lawyer, supporting on a broad range of tasks spanning legal support, company secretarial and compliance. Due to the nature of the organisation, there will be plenty of growth available in the role, allowing autonomy and the opportunity to regularly work closely with the firm’s senior team and investors.

  • Draft and review NDAs, confidentiality agreements, and commercial contracts
  • Review investment and legal documentation, including LP, loan and shareholder agreements
  • Liaise with external counsel and shareholders’ lawyers on legal matters and agreements
  • Conduct legal research and drafting and support disputes and special projects
  • Maintain the company’s contractual, insurance and investment documentation
  • Manage company secretarial and governance processes, including board and general meetings
  • Oversee regulatory filings and compliance across Cayman, BVI, Guernsey and Dubai entities
  • Maintain corporate records, statutory registers and KYC documentation
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure policies and procedures remain up to date
  • Manage regulatory and counterparty queries, liaising with administrators, advisers and regulators

Who we are looking for

  • Previous legal experience working within legal practice or in-house
  • Exposure to corporate law, private equity or investment management
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • International experience would be advantageous
