About our client

We are currently working with an international real estate fund looking for a visionary leader who can join their executive team as a Vice President of Operations for its entity in Mexico focused on residential projects. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the executive team, this highly visible leadership role will have direct influence over the company's strategy, growth, and operating model. As the executive responsible for the day-to-day operations of the entire portfolio, you will own the P&L, resident experience, occupancy, revenue, cost discipline, and the operational systems that enable scalable growth without compromising quality. You will also play an instrumental role in the full commercial function, including leasing, marketing, and branding, ensuring innovation and improvement of the company’s high-end product, and creating legendary customer experiences. The position is based in Mexico City.

What the job involves

• Own portfolio performance by leading the operating P&L, driving revenue, occupancy, NOI, resident satisfaction, and cost discipline while ensuring the portfolio consistently meets or exceeds financial and operational targets
• Lead the commercial organization, overseeing leasing, marketing, brand, and the end-to-end demand-to-lease funnel to maximize occupancy, revenue growth, resident retention, and overall portfolio performance
• Build and optimize scalable operating systems by designing standardized processes, reporting frameworks, controls, and performance metrics that increase transparency, strengthen accountability, and support the company's continued growth
• Develop high-performing teams and a culture of accountability by recruiting, coaching, and retaining top talent, building leadership capability, and fostering a disciplined, results-driven environment focused on continuous improvement
• Liaise and work closely with development, acquisitions, finance, asset management, HR, and legal to ensure new projects are operationally successful, support strategic growth initiatives, and maximize long-term portfolio value
• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic guidance to the CEO, presenting operational performance to investors, and helping shape the company's long-term growth strategy through data-driven decision-making and operational excellence

Who we are looking for

• Solid experience leading and managing real estate operations, asset performance, or a closely related operating role in any core segment including retail, industrial, mixed use, or hospitality; residential or multi family is a plus
• Demonstrated record of delivering measurable operational and financial results
• Experience building high-performing teams and scalable operating systems
• Strong commercial mindset with exposure to leasing, marketing, revenue management, or branding
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing processes and systems, ERP/operational technology, and standardized playbooks
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• A-player leadership mindset with exceptional organizational and execution skills
• Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory
• Based in or willing to relocate to Mexico City
