Our client is a leading US headquartered private equity fund and they are looking to hire a Sales Support / Client Services Analyst.

With an AUM of just under $70 billion of capital under management the fund specializes in providing both debt and equity capital to middle market companies.

What the job involves

This position supports the Relationship Managers and works closely with their product management team. You will gain broad experience to all aspects of private equity, real estate and credit strategies marketing and will have exposure to the largest dedicated team of investment professionals focused on the small to mid-cap segment. You will be an integral part of the capital formation team and provide critical assistance to the team.

• Update Salesforce database with key investor, and meeting details including follow up notes, feedback, contact details, etc.
• Generate reports including fund pipelines, progress of investors by geography, investor type, fund strategy
• Provide interested investors with access to fund datarooms (i.e. Intralinks)
• Send diligence packets to specific investors copying appropriate internal team members
• Create meeting agendas for in person, and virtual investor meetings
• Assist in creating marketing plans / market research on funds & investors, using third party vendors incl. Preqin, Pitchbook, etc.
• Craft and refine invitation lists, invitation emails for webinars/events
• Assist with investor requests, where appropriate, with project management and other teams within the firm

Who we are looking for

• Native-level Japanese language capability is mandatory 
• Strong interest in investor relations/client service 
• You should have prior experience in providing support to Japanese LPs and institutional investors 
• Prior experience in any of the following: investment banking, management consulting, big 4 accounting firms, asset management, alternatives, placement agents
