About our client

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, globally recognised alternative asset manager during a period of strategic growth. In this role, you will collaborate with international finance teams to deliver insightful financial reporting, manage cash flows, analyse performance trends across entities, and support regulatory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes. You will also play a key role in enhancing control frameworks, streamlining processes, and driving system improvements across the finance function.
What the job involves

  • Preparation in monthly group and statutory reporting
  • Assist the group international team on queries on group international reporting for EMEA entities
  • Liaise with global finance teams across the US, EMEA and APAC on group reporting and financial queries
  • Enhance management reporting through trend analysis, commentary, and preparation of board materials
  • Prepare financial regulatory returns, VAT and corporate tax filings, and support audit processes 
  • Maintain accounts procedures for European entities
  • Oversee payables, receivables, and cash flows 
  • Drive process improvements and control enhancements across regional and international teams through participation in finance projects and system initiatives

Who we are looking for

  • Chartered Accountant 
  • Experience in a financial services finance team
  • Strong technical accounting skills and experience, in particular with US GAAP and FRS102
  • Consolidation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of multi-currency accounting applications such as Oracle and banking platforms an advantage
  • Knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax and Regulatory Reporting an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of MS Office and accounting or portfolio systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
  • A proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving mindset
