About our client

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading independent global private investment firm based in Paris that operates across secondaries, primary fund-of-funds, and co-investments. As part of a high-performing team, you will gain exposure to data management, portfolio analysis, and reporting, while also supporting the investment process and fundraising initiatives. In this role, you’ll collaborate with global teams to deliver high-quality data solutions, enhance analytical capabilities, and drive data-informed decision-making across the firm. 
What the job involves

  • Maintain and enhance investment monitoring tools and processes across transaction, fund, and portfolio company levels
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and standardisation across teams
  • Collaborate closely with investment, finance, and investor relations teams
  • Document workflows and resolve data-related issues
  • Promote best practices in portfolio data management and expand data coverage
  • Support the preparation of portfolio materials and performance insights
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to scale analytics
  • Develop interactive dashboards and tools to enhance forecasting and data communication

Who we are looking for

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex functions and data manipulation techniques
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
  • Experience with Power BI, data governance, ETL processes, data analysis, and managing large or complex datasets is preferred
  • Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and industry best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to build effective working relationships across the business
  • French language skills are a plus
