What the job involves

• Support on the identification and origination of investment opportunities within climate-focused initiatives in emerging markets globally
• Develop and enhance strategic partnerships to drive future investment prospects
• Conduct mapping exercises to develop strategies for targeting investments where they can have the most impact and are most needed
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment proposals to the investment committee and board

Who we are looking for

• Master's degree in economics, finance or related discipline
• Background in financial services such as private equity, investment banking, or project finance, especially in emerging markets
• In-depth understanding of climate or energy sectors, including knowledge of industry trends, regulatory environments, and key challenges and opportunities within these fields
• Familiarity with financial instruments used by development finance institutions and multilateral development banks
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships, and create effective partnerships across diverse stakeholders
