About our client

Our clients is a leading real assets investment manager with a decade-long record in real estate. The firm is expanding its platform, launching new funds, mandates, and JVs to capitalize on market opportunities. 
What the job involves

  • Lead investment execution: Drive analysis and execution of real estate investments. Responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, process management, and ensuring investments meet return criteria
  • New fund & mandate modelling: Develop and refine comprehensive fund and mandate models, including scenario analysis and capital structure assumptions, foundational for fundraising and decision-making
  • Portfolio forecasting & risk analysis: Own portfolio-level forecasting and risk analysis, creating cash flow projections, stress tests, and scenario analyses to inform strategic decisions
  • Financial structuring & analysis: Optimize capital structures at both deal and fund levels, modeling waterfalls and analyzing the impact of different financing options on returns and risk
  • Cross-team collaboration: Serve as a hub between investment, capital formation, asset management, and finance teams—ensuring data and analysis support both execution and strategy

Who we are looking for

  • Experience in real estate investments, private equity, or related finance roles 
  • Demonstrated involvement in sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, and closing of transactions, as well as fund or mandate management and modeling. Ability to articulate specific deal contributions and broader fund-level thinking
  • Exposure to joint ventures, waterfall/promote structures, and alternative financing (mezzanine, preferred equity) is preferred
  • Experience in lean, entrepreneurial environments is valued; ability to take initiative and ownership beyond narrowly defined roles
  • Bachelor’s in finance, economics, real estate, or similar; Master’s, MBA, or relevant certifications (CFA, MRICS) highly preferred
