About our client

Our client is a well-established lower mid-market PE fund, with an entrepreneurial lean team based in London. They have a fantastic track record investing alongside funds from venture through to large cap. As one of the most active lower mid-market firms, you will have fantastic exposure to a wide range of transactions and will be able to take on significant responsibiltiy from the outset.

This role will be based within their co-investment team, working closely with the Head of the team. Additionally this hire will work with their direct buyout team on an opportunistic basis so will gain further exposure.

What the job involves

Reviewing opportunities to invest in the private equity market via co-investments and direct investments
Carrying out financial analysis and preparing IC materials
Attending meeting with investment partners
Involvement in portfolio monitoring analysis as well as preparing reporting materials for both internal and external purposes
Assisting with the preparing of IC papers and board materials

Who we are looking for

Prior experience preferably within the buyside, M&A or Big 4
Strong analytical skills, with strong attention to detail
Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to assume additional responsibilities
Strong written and oral communication skills
High-energy team player with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment
