About our client

PER is partnering with a leading infrastructure investor to appoint a Portfolio Valuations Associate who will take ownership of valuation responsibilities across both a newly launched fund and existing portfolios. This is a key growth hire and a pivotal role supporting senior management in overseeing valuations, portfolio analysis, and ongoing performance monitoring. The successful candidate will bring strong valuation expertise and work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, playing an integral role in shaping and supporting the firm’s continued growth and success.
What the job involves

  • Lead and manage quarterly and monthly valuation processes
  • Review and challenge valuation assumptions and prepare detailed materials for Valuation Committee meetings
  • Support the transition of valuation processes to new systems and operating models, driving automation and becoming a technical and systems expert for valuations
  • Prepare analytical materials for Portfolio Performance Committee meetings in collaboration with investment teams and senior leadership
  • Work with and manage external advisors, including third-party valuers, valuation software providers, and external auditors
  • Produce schedules and analysis to support the Investor Relations team in responding to investor queries on an ad hoc basis
  • Contribute to the development of robust, commercial, and efficient valuation processes from first principles

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in a relevant financial discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in valuations or a related corporate finance field
  • Advanced proficiency in cashflow financial modelling
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure valuations is highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Outstanding communication, listening, and organisational abilities
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills
  • Self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities
