Our client is Europe’s largest early-stage impact VC, with over €500m in AUM. They back the founders fixing our biggest problems while building massive businesses. Their portfolio includes 50+ companies transforming industries and societies and they are currently in the process of raising there next fund. 
 
They are a close-knit team united by one simple question: Where do we find the next impact unicorn?
 
In pursuit of this goal, they are expanding their team as they broaden their geographical focus across Europe. They are seeking a junior Investor to be based in Stockholm.
 
As a small team, every hire has an exponential impact on their results, and they maintain an exceptionally flat structure with proven scope for progression. A commitment to diversity has been one of their founding principles, reflected in their international team with a 50/50 gender split across all levels.
 
Their portfolio spans sectors including cleantech, energy, healthcare and education among others. The VC's mission is to back the best founders to achieve a combination of high impact and financial returns. The fund is an independent investment vehicle with commercial return targets.

What the job involves

• Supporting all aspects of the transaction process from sourcing through execution and working with the portfolio
• Evaluating and screening investment opportunities for both their commercial prospects and their impact
• Building networks across Europe - representing the VC and their values in the market

Who we are looking for

• Full-time relevant work experience (e.g., Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital or within a Venture-backed startup) or in a similarly analytical and strategically focused role
• A strong VC or startup network in DACH
• German language skills are highly desirable
• Someone who wants to make the world a better place and believes entrepreneurship and strong business models are great driving forces for this
• A deeply analytical thinker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
