The firm has supported over 100 SpaceTech companies through investments and accelerators and their expertise in the sector is unrivalled. Their mission is to accelerate humanity's next giant leap and the impact of SpaceTech can be seen in a wide range of industries including sustainability and climate, security and connectivity.
The team is looking to hire a VP into the investment team in an integral role working across both the early-stage and growth capital funds. You will lead/co-lead and support on new investments as well as closely supporting the existing portfolio. Reporting directly into a Partner, this is an exciting opportunity to further your investment career with a focus on some of the most cutting-edge technologies and a truly global remit.
What the job involves
Deal origination, high quality, pre-filtered sourcing efforts and sponsoring of deals to take to IC
Investment execution, leading, co-leading and supporting deals from end to end
Portfolio management, acting contact for management teams and the possibility of board observer roles
Thought leadership across published sector research and market commentary
Line management responsibilities for Associates, Analyst and Interns
Who we are looking for
Full-time investment experience from Venture Capital or Growth Equity is essential
Direct experience of independently sourcing and executing deals
Additional work experience in a relevant field, most likely from a deeptech start-up, consulting or investment banking will be advantageous
Strong analytical toolkit and training
Notable written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, capable of independently driving tasks
Passion for the SpaceTech sector and deeptech in general
