About our client
We are working with an exciting venture capital fund, focussed on deeptech and life sciences, who are seeking a senior investor to join the team. With strong performance from their previous funds, the team has recently completed a significant 1st close of their 3rd fund hence this is an exciting time to join and back some of the leading, IP-rich, companies across the UK.
As a lean team, this is a hands-on position offering significant responsibility leading the full investment lifecycle, alongside the opportunity to play a hands-on role in shaping and growing a portfolio of innovative, high-potential businesses.
The role would be based in the UK with circa one day a week required close to Oxford. This role will focus on the deeptech part of their mandate rather than life sciences.

Solid technical or sector understanding to assess business models and risks effectively
Board-level experience or readiness to operate in a governance capacity would be complimentary

Excellent analytical and communication skills
A proactive, hands-on approach to working with portfolio companies
