About our client

Our client is an international, software-focussed growth equity fund with an impressive portfolio. Investing from their first fund there is significant capital to deploy and headroom to grow in an expanding business.

They are looking to hire an Associate to join their high-calibre investment team based in London.

Given their investment focus it is important that you have a deep understanding and demonstrable interest in the software space.

What the job involves

You will work across the entire transaction process, from deal identification and sourcing to portfolio management support
You will support the team and portfolio companies with the strategy development, business planning, monitoring, fundraising, and exit planning requirements
You will also be involved with the identification and evaluation of new deal opportunities
Representing the fund in the industry – attending conferences and networking with founders and other investment professionals

Who we are looking for

Full-time experience in banking or consulting is essential
Additional operational experience in a start-up or scale-up is desirable
Demonstrable interest in technology, specifically software
Strong research and data analytics skills
A natural networker with an entrepreneurial mindset
A passion for scale-ups with exciting growth plans
